Reframing Education in the Digital Age

In this TedX talk at the University of California, Los Angeles, with a PhD in Education Policy, Dr Preston talks about his experience in returning to teaching at high school. He looks at the issues of digital literacy and global citizenship. Specifically he talks about whether students can be coauthors of education by considering approaches such as curation and analysis to extend both the content and process of education. Dr Preston asks questions and provides examples but the main learning point is that the audience is left to reflect on what is possible when the teacher becomes a facilitator and the student becomes the teacher.
