Personalised Health and Care 2020: Information Governance

In the eighth section of the document, the authors discuss information governance. The steps towards improving information governance include the appointment of Dame Fiona Caldicott as the National Data Guardian for Health and Care and with the intention of placing this on a statutory footing. The authors also discuss a roadmap for managing information.

What is the Framework for Action?

The National Information Board have published a document titled ‘Personalised Health and Care 2020: Using Data and Technology to Transform Outcomes for Patients and Citizens – a Framework for Action’. This paper relates to some of the other documents that have been discussed in previous posts.
