The New Health and Social Care Act 2012

The Health and Social Care Bill received Royal Assent and is now the Health and Social Care Act 2012. The Bill’s passage through the House of Commons and House of Lords was closely followed and met with opposition from many directions. During the passage of the Bill there were many amendments. In this link, Health Secretary Andrew Lansley explains some of the implications of the new Act.
