In the 9th section the authors discuss innovation, growth and life-saving treatments. Developments in genomics are a key focus as are developments in IT infrastructure. There is also a discussion of technology funds, ‘test bed sites’, health and care ‘new towns’ and international and commercial collaboration.

What is the Framework for Action?

The National Information Board have published a document titled ‘Personalised Health and Care 2020: Using Data and Technology to Transform Outcomes for Patients and Citizens – a Framework for Action’. This paper relates to some of the other documents that have been discussed in previous posts.
